Hell Yeah Tour! On the Road

The Hell Yeah! Tour Hits the Party on the Porch

Every first Friday of the month, Alabama Outdoors hosts an event they call Party on the Porch. Food and drink, music and booths of variety set up shop in the backyard of AO and have a party in the evening. For the party at the start of June, the Mountain Khakis Hell Yeah! Tour set up shop and brought the beer from SweetWater Brewery. For the evening, folks entered to win SWAG from all of our partners, enjoyed tacos from the best taco truck in all of Birmingham, and listened to live music from a local favorite, Jason Bailey. The best part of these parties on the porch: proceeds benefit local advocacy groups. The beneficiary of this Friday’s Party on the Porch: the Cahaba River Society, which educates and connects people with the Cahaba River. Hell Yeah! After we had shaken a couple hundred hands and said thank to the crew at AO, the Hell Yeah! Tour hit the road for camp before the ever-present rain hit. Until next time Alabama Outdoors!

Howdy, my name is Garrett Dickson (a.k.a “G Money”) and I’m your Hell Yeah! Tour Coordinator. I’m a Colorado boy, born and bred. My greatest joy is to be in the natural world living life on my skis, on my bike, or with a paddle in my hands. For the next several months I’ll be traveling the country with Mountain Khakis, celebrating the intersection of outdoor x craft beer culture with you – the MK tribe!
