Equatorial Pants and Shorts

The Equatorial Pants and Shorts have become an indispensable part of my gear list for trips to any destination, from Disneyland to the Pacific Crest Trail. They both are cut to look good around town, but athletic enough to wear trail running or rock climbing. Their light weight makes them a no-brainer for hiking.

The Equatorial Shorts are about the only shorts I wear anymore. The super high density weave makes them incredibly durable for their weight, so they’ll withstand the abuse that comes with cragging or sliding on the rocks at your favorite swimming hole. Just don’t expect to stay wet after you get out, though. The Equatorials are treated with durable water repellent to begin with, and dry super fast.

When cool temps or rain are in the forecast, the Equatorial Pants cut the chill and do a surprisingly good job of keeping water out. They stay clean and comfortable even after days of unwashed use, and look good whether on the trail or stopping for a nicer bite to eat.

Both also have plenty of pockets, including secure zippered pockets for your keys or other items you don’t want to lose track of. The zippers are done so well, though, you’ll hardly even notice they’re there.

A great set of pants and shorts for any adventure!
